Week ending 10th March 2019
The fishery has seen some difficult fishing conditions this week, especially over the weekend where strong winds affected most pegs on both Saturday and Sunday.
If you’re looking for Plenty of bites try Upper Bembo where anglers have reported some great days catching lots of small F1’s, fishing 12-13m in 4ft of water on soft pellet.
Lower Bembo has also been fishing well with good size skimmers showing in the middle of the track and some big F1’s being caught at 13m on soft and hard pellets.
Lakeside fished Big Max on Sunday with 20 fishing, pegging was always going to be tight, this said the match was won with 82lbs fishing a small method tight to the island.
Lucky and Goose have seen a number of barbel now starting to be caught fishing on mainly maggot.
If its big carp you’re after, then West Sooty has seen carp the 18lbs being caught on the usual Pellet and Boilies approach.
